Quick overview
Job description
Job ID: Amazon Web Services Australia Pty Ltd

The candidate will have excellent writing skills and the ability to translate deeply technical content into easy to understand training. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have training, instructional design, or technical documentation experience, programming experience, and thrive in an extremely agile environment. Above all, the candidate will have a passion for learning.
This position requires that the candidate selected be an Australian citizen and be eligible for at least an NV-1 security clearance.
Key job responsibilities- Dive deep into AWS technologies, such as Generative AI, Machine Learning, Big Data, Web Applications, Security, Networking, High Performance Computing, Storage, Databases, Enterprise Applications, Migration Strategies or other solutions areas to understand the services and develop effective training for our customers.

- Assist in developing and maintaining training content, lab exercises, presentations, and accompanying materials.
- Collaborate with multiple functional groups to develop training content that educates customers on the full portfolio of AWS services and features.
- Work with subject matter experts to understand training needs and collaborate with technical teams across AWS (including Developers, Support Engineers, Professional Services, and Solutions Architects) to build technically accurate training that meets the learning objectives.
- Utilize automated lab and courseware publishing processes built on AWS.
- Build relationships with AWS service teams to understand roadmaps and plan for content updates or new training offerings. Respond to changes in products/features by revising content at a rapid pace using agile methodologies.
- Facilitate requirements gathering meetings with curriculum stakeholders to define the appropriate learning objectives, modalities and expectations.
- Have very high standards for quality of work and strong attention to detail, following various required guidelines and holding peer reviews for all content developed.
