Global Mobility Specialist

Our client, Global Mobility & HR Operations is seeking a Global Mobility Specialist to join their team. As a Global Mobility Specialist, you will be part of the Global Mobility function supporting a small team that manages end-to-end case management for employee moves. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, clear communication with stakeholders, and the ability to work with global mobility processes and vendor tools which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Global Mobility Specialist

Location: Austin, TX

What's the Job?

• Own case management for domestic and international employee moves, tracking employee status in coordination with key stakeholders including Payroll, Benefits, and Immigration.
• Maintain a centralized global mobility tracker and provide weekly status reporting to the Global Mobility Leader, escalating issues quickly when needed.
• Support relocation activities and manage day-to-day administration, including working with vendor tools and internal HR systems.
• Audit vendor files and weekly invoices to ensure accuracy, triage billing issues, and prepare items for leader approval before submission to Finance.
• Train Talent Acquisition recruiters on vendor mobility tool usage, respond to relocation FAQs, and keep global mobility sites updated with current vendor, program, and legal information.

What's Needed?

• Global Mobility background with strong understanding of global mobility terminology, processes, and how program components work together.
• Experience supporting corporate relocation, including tactical administration of country moves (minimum 2 years preferred).
• Strong organizational and process development skills, with the ability to find order in ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a small team, provide backup support as needed, and work across different time zones.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets/Smartsheet and Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, SharePoint); vendor tool experience is preferred and training can be provided.
