Job Description

  • 5+ years of UX design experience with a strong strategy and research orientation, and a portfolio demonstrating that range. A portfolio is required for consideration.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop UX strategy for complex, multi-step, multi-system experiences.
  • A genuine research background — comfortable partnering on a research plan and turning findings into design decisions.
  • Proven skill creating user journey maps, user flows, and process maps for sophisticated problems.
  • Ability to execute wireframes and design artifacts independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Fluency with AI tools for accelerating research synthesis, artifact creation, and design iteration.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma (and comfort with mapping/diagramming tools such as FigJam, Miro, or similar).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, and the ability to work self-directed at a full-time pace in a remote setting.
  • Experience designing care pathway and/or EMR / electronic medical record user experiences; experience with specific platforms such as AthenaHealth is helpful but not required.
  • Experience in healthcare, mental/behavioral health, telehealth, or other regulated domains.
  • Experience designing scheduling, booking, matching, or intake/onboarding flows.
  • Familiarity with service design and mapping experiences that span multiple products or systems.
