Workshop Forklift Engineer - Sheffield

Job Title: Forklift Engineer<br />Location: Near Sheffield (depot based) Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm<br />Salary: £30,000–£40,000 basic + overtime<br />OTE: £35,625–£47,500 We are looking for a Workshop Engineer to join the team at our depot near Sheffield.

This is a hands-on workshop position within a busy team, so we are looking for someone who is confident working independently.

Your responsibilities will include:<br />Servicing and maintaining a hire fleet of forklifts.<br />Carrying out LOLER inspections and associated checks.<br />Diagnosing and completing repairs and maintenance work.<br />Working primarily on Combilift equipment.<br />Ensuring equipment is maintained to a high standard and is ready for hire.<br />Working independently and managing your workload effectively.<br />Supporting the wider workshop team as required.<br />Experience you will need:<br />Previous engineering experience working with forklifts, plant machinery or HGVs.<br />Mechanical and fault-finding skills.<br />Experience carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance.<br />LOLER inspection experience would be beneficial.<br />The ability to work independently without requiring significant supervision.<br />A practical, hands-on approach and a strong focus on quality and safety.<br />Your Package:<br />Hours:

Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm<br />Salary: £30,000–£40,000 basic + overtime<br />OTE: £35,625–£47,500 (based on an average of 5 hours' overtime per week)<br />Overtime: Paid at 1.5x<br />Benefits:
