Job Description

Under the direction of the Director of Construction, the Construction Project Manager will plan and oversee all phases of commercial construction projects from pre-construction through close-out. This role is responsible for budgeting, scheduling, vendor management, contract negotiations, and ensuring delivery of high-quality projects on time and within budget. 

  • 5–10 years of experience in commercial construction project management. 
  • Proven experience managing commercial projects valued from $1M–$50M+. 
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. 
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam). 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. 
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction documents. 
  • OSHA 30 certification required. 
  • PMP or CCM certification is a plus. 
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. 
  • Financial and contractual acumen. 
  • Collaborative, team-first mindset with strong client-service orientation. 

Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and work plans. 
  • Coordinate and communicate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors. 
  • Oversee contract administration, including RFPs, bid analysis, and change orders. 
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions. 
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, building regulations, and safety standards. 
  • Review construction documents and shop drawings for accuracy and feasibility. 
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and schedule adherence. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders. 
  • Maintain detailed documentation, including daily reports, meeting minutes, and close-out packages.
