Job Summary

JPMC is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong backend development, REST API, and microservices expertise to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Work with relational and NoSQL databases.

• Build secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality software.

• Troubleshoot issues, write unit tests, and participate in code reviews.

Must-Have Requirements

• 9–10 years of Java development experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.

• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.

• Strong understanding of microservices architecture.

• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, Git, and build tools.

• Understanding of application security, performance tuning, and design patterns.

• Experience with Agile development and automated testing.

• Must be local to Columbus, OH and available to work onsite 4–5 days per week.

• Must be available for an in-person L2 interview.

Preferred Requirements

• Previous JPMC experience.
