Product Owner - Healthcare

Healthcare Backlog & Strategy: Own and refine the product backlog for Centene''''s PDM/PLM ecosystem, translating healthcare benefit designs, schedule of benefits, and plan rules into detailed user stories.

Plan & Benefit Configuration: Drive end-to-end PDM/PLM configuration workflows for complex plan hierarchies, copay/deductible structures, networks, and rate tables.

Regulatory & CMS Alignment: Ensure all product data models comply with federal and state healthcare mandates, including CMS guidelines, ACA standards, and state Medicaid contracts.

Downstream System Integration: Partner with remote technical leads to ensure accurate data flow between the PLM engine and core claims/administrative engines (e.g., Facets, QNXT).

Virtual Agile Governance: Lead distributed Agile/Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Refinement, asynchronovirtual UAT sign-offs) for cross-functional squads comprising Cognizant developers and Centene business stakeholders.

Healthcare Payer Domain: Must have 5+ years of direct Healthcare Payer / Managed Care experience. Strong understanding of health plan product architecture, benefit configuration, claims adjudication rules, and enrollment workflows.

PDM / PLM Expertise: Proven track record leading or implementing Product Data Management / Product Lifecycle Management systems within a health insurance context.

Remote Work Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to drive complex project deliverables, run engaging virtual workshops, and maintain alignment in a fully remote, distributed team environment.

Agile Expertise: CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) or SAFe POPM certification with hands-on experience driving squads in complex enterprise environments.

Client & Delivery Experience: Experience working in a global consultancy/system integrator model (Cognizant) interfacing directly with large enterprise healthcare clients (Centene).
