Job Title: Project Manager - Financial

• As a Project Manager, you will lead the agile project management of a client’s Trade Promotion Management transformation, acting as a liaison between multiple business units and project workstreams.
• You will manage the project milestone delivery and present at stage gates, while identifying and communicating any risks and their impact on critical paths.
• You will serve as a key point-of-contact for our client and will be responsible for owning and maintaining the financial components of the project such as the budget and value case.  
Responsibilities:
• Collaborating with workstreams to implement Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud for Trade Promotion Management.
• Producing a recurring executive status report (weekly and monthly) that covers schedule health, budget variance, top risks, and decisions needed, tailored for sponsors, business unit leads, and technical teams.
• Surfacing bad news early by escalating threats to scope, schedule, or budget with a recommended resolution and a clear ask, rather than just a description of the problem.

• Developing the project budget with the PMO and client finance team, including labor, licensing, third-party, and contingency lines.
• Monitoring actuals against budget, reporting variances, and forecasting costs.
• Tracking spend against planned timing, including invoicing milestones, vendor payments, and resource burn, to flag cash-flow surprises before they happen.
• Reconciling time and expense data to the plan and supporting accurate billing and revenue recognition.
• Identifying cost-saving and efficiency opportunities, and reporting realized savings to sponsors.
Abilities:
• You are exceptionally organized and have what it takes to efficiently monitor and control basic finance/accounting progress, identify dependencies, and provide resolution plans as issues arise.
• Experience preparing and presenting to director-level and steering committee audiences.
• You have demonstrated experience owning a project budget, with budget-to-actual reporting.
• You have working knowledge of forecasting and cash-flow tracking.
• You have working knowledge of earned value management, forecasting, and cash-flow tracking.
• You are a natural collaborator with excelled leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Your communication style helps you explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• You are extremely decisive and adaptable to changing priorities from competing demands.
• You are a quick thinker and are confident in your abilities to establish timely communications with the client ensuring information is accurately gathered and shared with the internal team.
• You are inquisitive in nature and driven by curiosity.
Qualifications:
• You have 9+ years of B2B (enterprise) project management experience.
• You have a bachelor's degree or greater (any major).
• You have hands on experience in agile, scrum, and waterfall project management.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Smartsheets, ServiceNow or similar agile project management tools.
• You have strong client relationship management experience.
• You have a formal project management certification (PMP, CAPM, CSM, DASM, etc).
