12-month Fixed-Term Contract
I’m recruiting for a Business Support Coordinator / Executive to join the Business Support team of an established global organisation based in Bedford.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administration, order management or customer support experience who enjoys working with detail, solving problems and making sure things are done properly.
This isn’t simply a data-entry role.
You’ll be responsible for coordinating and processing B2B customer orders, some of which can be complex and contain multiple or configurable elements. You’ll need to understand what you’re processing, identify when information is missing or something doesn’t look right, and work with the relevant teams to resolve issues before they cause problems further down the line.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Processing and coordinating B2B customer orders
- Reviewing detailed order information for accuracy and completeness
- Identifying missing information, discrepancies or potential issues
- Investigating queries rather than simply processing what has been submitted
- Communicating professionally with customers
- Working closely with Sales, Operations and other internal teams
- Managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Developing your knowledge of the organisation’s products, systems and processes
- Using SAP as part of the order-management process
What are we looking for?
Industry experience isn’t the priority for this hire. We’re much more interested in the complexity and level of responsibility you’ve handled previously.
You could come from order management, sales administration, customer operations, commercial support, business support, supply chain administration or another detail-heavy administrative environment.
You’ll ideally have experience of:
✓ Managing complex, bespoke or multi-product orders/transactions
✓ Working with large amounts of detailed information
✓ Spotting errors or missing information and taking ownership of resolving them
✓ Coordinating between customers and different internal teams
✓ Managing competing priorities without compromising accuracy
✓ Communicating confidently and professionally with B2B customers
Previous SAP experience would be advantageous but isn’t essential , as full training will be provided.
Training & development
You’ll receive structured systems and product training alongside hands-on development, including shadowing experienced members of the team.
The wider organisation is also evolving its products, services and ways of working, including greater use of automation and AI-supported processes, so this would suit someone who enjoys learning and adapting.
