IT Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale, strategic systems initiatives, drive executive stakeholder alignment, and oversee complex vendor partnerships.

• Location: Lansing, MI (Local candidates within 90 miles required)
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite Tuesdays & Wednesdays - Day 1)
• Interview Process: 60-Minute Virtual Interview via MS Teams (Video & Screen-Sharing Required)

Key Skills Needed

To succeed in this position, you need 5+ years of experience across these key areas:

• Data Governance & Infrastructure: Core knowledge of data architecture concepts and data governance fundamentals.
• SDLC & Systems Integration: Expertise in software development lifecycles for building and enhancing complex IT systems.
• Matrix Leadership: Proven track record leading cross-functional teams in matrix organizations.
• Executive Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to run sponsor meetings, align leadership, and negotiate outcomes.
• Conflict Resolution & Negotiation: Resolving high-priority conflicts, resource constraints, and competing requirements.
• Facilitation & Training: Experience conducting technical workshops and training sessions for diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Public Sector / Government project management experience.
• Background spanning multiple leadership roles (Project Manager, Program Manager, or PMO Lead).
