Job Description

We are looking for Associate Manufacturing Technician for our client in Ridgefield, NJ

Job Title: Associate Manufacturing Technician

Job Location: Ridgefield, NJ

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $17.00hr - $22.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • At least 1-2 years related experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Requires basic math skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Fulfills manufacturing lab functions including image reviews and robotic equipment operation.
  • Loads and unloads equipment and packages products in a controlled manufacturing environment.
  • Executes the daily production schedule for changeovers, reviews, or packaging using manual and automated processes.
  • Follows standard operating procedures and good document practices.
  • Works as an individual and as a team member to ensure all assigned tasks are completed on a daily basis.
  • Communicates status updates to department Leads and Supervisors.
  • Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
  • Works near or around moving mechanical parts.
  • Adheres to PPE assessments, SOP, and JSA safety protection guidelines when exposed to hazardous chemicals.

Nice to Have:

  • College degree is a plus.

Qualification And Education:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to stand.
  • Ability to walk.
  • Ability to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Ability to sit.
  • Ability to lift and move 10 pounds frequently.
  • Ability to lift and move 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to utilize close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
  • Ability to adjust focus.
