Senior Financial Analyst - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 120k/year - Franklin Park, IL

  • Our client, a growing manufacturing organization, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its finance team. This role is responsible for financial planning and analysis across multiple affiliated businesses, including consolidating financial results, analyzing business and manufacturing performance, and supporting budgeting and forecasting. The Senior Financial Analyst will also support management reporting, KPI analysis, financial process improvement, and procurement and cost management initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and consolidate financial reporting across four affiliated businesses, including monthly management reporting and analysis of financial results.
  • Analyze business and manufacturing performance, trends, job costs, material usage, cost variances, commodity pricing, and other key financial drivers.
  • Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, including consolidating financial plans across multiple business units.
  • Develop and maintain KPI reporting, including cash flow forecasts, manufacturing plant productivity, capital expenditure ROI, and other financial metrics.
  • Coordinate preparation of management and Board of Directors presentations, including financial reporting, forecasts, and business performance analysis.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and financial modeling to support business decisions across the organization.
  • Lead financial projects focused on reporting, process improvement, financial performance, and finance automation.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to use AI tools to simplify, standardize, and automate finance processes.
  • Partner with procurement and sourcing teams on supplier pricing, purchasing analysis, commodity costs, and cost management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 5+ years of financial experience within manufacturing
  • Experience with job costing, variance analysis, and budgeting
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Experience using AI tools in finance

Compensation:

  • Base salary in the 80k - 120k/year range, plus bonus
