Project/Program Manager II

Location: Seattle, Washington

Role Overview

As a Materials Program Manager (MPM), you will be responsible for the management and delivery of the program's financial and cost models for custom design devices. This business-oriented role involves working with local and remote operations and engineering teams to drive the development, implementation, and management of the program budget and schedule. You will serve as the business voice, capturing and communicating financial exposures, and will own major supplier relationships for key modules and final assembly throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with engineering and supply chain teams to set program cost and schedule targets at a commodity level.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of components to support NPI and production builds.
• Coordinate activities across diverse internal groups to mitigate issues.
• Track program actual costs and milestones against targets to identify and address deltas.
• Attend and lead new product introduction meetings to assess the cost implications of engineering or process changes.
• Work with third-party suppliers to set product purchase order costs.
• Drive Statement of Work (SOW) and product/supplier contract negotiations.
• Manage purchase price variance claims and schedule delays from engineering changes, component obsolescence, or forecast variance.
• Drive the supply chain and operations team to provide detailed cost reduction forecasts.
