Generator Service Engineer

Service Engineer - Critical Power Location: Havant<br />Salary: £35-40k base (£50k OTE) We're looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join a growing engineering business specialising in critical power systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills who enjoys working independently, solving technical problems and delivering excellent customer service. The Role You'll be responsible for:

Servicing, maintaining and repairing generators, UPS systems and associated critical power equipment<br />Fault diagnosis and emergency breakdown response<br />Installation and commissioning of equipment<br />Load bank testing, inspections and electrical testing<br />Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records<br />Supporting customers with technical advice and training<br />Participating in an on-call rota and occasional overnight stays About You NVQ Level 3, City &amp; Guilds or equivalent engineering qualification<br />Experience working with generators, UPS systems or other critical power equipment<br />Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills<br />A proactive, customer-focused approach<br />A full UK driving licence What's on Offer Overtime and on-call payments<br />Ongoing training and career development<br />Opportunity to work on a wide range of critical power systems<br />Supportive team within a growing businessIf you're an experienced engineer looking for your next challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
