Electrical Design Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a Building Services consultancy delivering commercial fit-out and residential projects at RIBA Stages 4-5.

You'll be working predominantly on projects delivered for M&E contractors, providing detailed electrical design input through the later stages of project delivery. This is an initial 3-month contract with an immediate start available.

The preference is for a minimum of three days per week, although there is some flexibility around the working arrangement for the right candidate. The Role You'll be involved in:

Delivering electrical Building Services design across commercial and residential projects<br />Working primarily across RIBA Stages 4-5<br />Producing detailed electrical design information<br />Supporting commercial fit-out schemes<br />Working across residential developments<br />Delivering design work for M&amp;E contractor-led projects<br />Coordinating electrical requirements with wider Building Services disciplines<br />Reviewing and developing technical design information<br />Supporting projects through detailed design and delivery stages<br />Working closely with engineers, contractors and wider project teamsWhat They're Looking For Strong experience as an Electrical Design Engineer<br />Building Services / MEP design experience<br />Experience delivering projects through detailed design stages<br />Good understanding of RIBA Stages 4-5<br />Experience across commercial and/or residential projects<br />Ability to produce high-quality electrical design information<br />Strong technical and problem-solving capabilities<br />Good communication and coordination skills<br />Ideally available to work from the office at least three days per weekExperience working directly with M&amp;E contractors or contractor-led project teams would be particularly beneficial.
