MLD Teacher | Maidenhead, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

The Role

• Deliver Maths, English, or Science tuition to children and young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and PMLD needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5, planning and delivering trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Work flexibly through in-person, remote, or hybrid teaching arrangements.
• Report on lesson outcomes and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for vulnerable young people.
• Collaborate with local authorities and schools to provide tailored educational support.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
• A minimum of 2 years' teaching experience, preferably with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
• Familiarity with teaching core subjects: Maths, English, and/or Science.
• Knowledge of safeguarding principles and creating a safe learning environment.
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• The right to work in the United Kingdom.
