Kforce has a client that is seeking a Remote/Hybrid Senior IS Program Manager in Washington or Oregon. The duration of this role will be a 12-month contract with occasional travel as needed.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior IS Program Manager to lead large, complex enterprise-wide divestiture and transformation programs. This role advises, consults, and manages strategic initiatives that span multiple Information Services teams and shared-service functions. The successful candidate will plan, organize, direct, and lead program activities that achieve business objectives while driving collaboration across diverse stakeholder groups.

This position is responsible for overseeing multiple technology and shared-services workstreams, managing program governance, driving organizational change, resolving issues that span multiple programs, and influencing outcomes across teams without direct authority. The ideal candidate is a seasoned program leader with direct experience leading enterprise-wide divestiture, separation, merger, or acquisition-related initiatives.

The successful candidate will build and manage integrated program plans, roadmaps, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, executive communications, and governance processes. They will facilitate executive reviews, steering committees, and key decision-making forums while ensuring alignment across business leaders, technology teams, vendors, and executive stakeholders. We are looking for a strategic program leader who can balance executive-level engagement with hands-on execution.

Strong executive presence, relationship-building skills, and the ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations are essential. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a proven track record delivering large-scale transformational programs with significant business impact.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years of Information Services project and program management experience
  • 5+ years of leading large-scale enterprise programs with executive visibility
  • Direct experience supporting divestitures, mergers, acquisitions, separation planning, integration planning, or enterprise transformation initiatives
  • Proven ability to lead multiple technology, business, shared services, and vendor workstreams
  • Strong program governance, portfolio management, risk management, and change management experience
  • Experience developing integrated program plans, roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and executive reporting
  • Proven success facilitating executive reviews, steering committees, escalations, and strategic decision-making
  • Strong executive presence with exceptional communication, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience partnering directly with executive leaders and senior stakeholders
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results without direct authority
  • Strong financial management experience including forecasting, resource planning, and portfolio reporting
  • Experience creating executive presentations, dashboards, status reports, and decision-support materials
  • Ability to operate effectively in matrixed organizations, manage ambiguity, and drive results with limited direction
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, Copilot, and portfolio management tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • PMP, PgMP, Agile, Lean, or similar certification
  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Experience supporting infrastructure, technology modernization, application consolidation, remediation, or enterprise transformation programs
  • Demonstrated success leading transformational programs from planning through operational transition
