Job Description

Job Title: Cloud Security Consultant Oracle OCI

Location: BROADWAY, NYC, NY - Onsite

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Job Description

The Cloud Security Consultant will provide hands-on security design, engineering, and oversight for the PeopleSoft OCI architecture. This role ensures the environment is hardened, compliant, monitored, and aligned with MTA cybersecurity standards. The consultant will partner with Application Security, IAM, Network, Data Security, and Cloud Engineering teams to deliver a secure OCI landing zone and PeopleSoft deployment.

Required Qualifications
  • Strong experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI):
    • Policies, Compartments, Security Zones
    • OCI WAF, Load Balancing, Vault, Key Management
    • Network Security (subnet design, firewalls, NAT, private endpoints)
  • Cloud Security engineering background (Azure/AWS acceptable as secondary).
  • CSPM tools (Oracle Cloud Guard, Prisma, Wiz, or similar).
  • Experience securing enterprise applications in cloud.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of Application Security, DevSecOps, and API security.
  • Knowledge of logging/monitoring: SIEM, cloud audit logs, event metrics.
  • Ability to collaborate with architecture, DBA, AppSec, IAM, and network teams.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft architecture.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on security design, engineering, and oversight for the PeopleSoft OCI architecture.
  • Ensure the environment is hardened, compliant, monitored, and aligned with MTA cybersecurity standards.
  • Partner with Application Security, IAM, Network, Data Security, and Cloud Engineering teams.
  • Deliver a secure OCI landing zone and PeopleSoft deployment.
  • Support cloud security engineering and enterprise application security.
  • Implement and support CSPM capabilities using Oracle Cloud Guard, Prisma, Wiz, or similar tools.
  • Support logging and monitoring through SIEM, cloud audit logs, and event metrics.
  • Collaborate with architecture, DBA, AppSec, IAM, and network teams.
