  • We are seeking a Contract Product Analyst to support Supply Chain technology initiatives across warehouse, yard, transportation, last-mile delivery, data, and master data capabilities. This role will partner with Supply Chain business stakeholders, Product Management, Engineering, vendors, and support teams to analyze operational needs, troubleshoot production issues, define small enhancements, and help plan and deliver system improvements.
  • The ideal candidate is a hands-on analyst who can move comfortably between business process analysis, application troubleshooting, requirements definition, testing, documentation, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, document, and help prioritize small enhancements and optimization opportunities for Manhattan solutions.
  • Support the implementation and rollout of a Yard Management System (YMS), including requirements, process alignment, testing, issue resolution, training clarification, and adoption support.
  • Troubleshoot Transportation Management System (TMS) issues involving line-haul planning, nuVizz last-mile planning, routing defects, and related operational workflows.
  • Troubleshoot data issues in Gnosis Freight, the freight/container lifecycle management platform used to track import shipments from booking through delivery and return of empty containers.
  • Translate business and operational problems into clear requirements, process flows, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable solution options.
  • Coordinate problem management activities, including issue intake, root-cause analysis, impact assessment, remediation tracking, and stakeholder communications.
  • Track and maintain open trouble tickets across vendors and platforms, including Manhattan, nuVizz, Gnosis, and other supply-chain technology partners; drive follow-up, status updates, escalation, and closure.
  • Partner with business and technology teams to assess data-streaming needs, data flows, integrations, and operational impacts.
  • Support data requirements for the Lyric AI platform, helping enable new and emerging Supply Chain use cases identified and prioritized by the Supply Chain business.
  • Support evaluation and planning for Master Data Management tool integrations, including data ownership, quality, workflow, and downstream system considerations.
  • Assess the current Transportation Management System and contribute to the upgrade strategy, roadmap, sequencing, dependencies, risks, and implementation plan for Manhattan Active TMS.
  • Support release planning, test case development, QA validation, defect triage, user acceptance testing, and production readiness activities.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, troubleshooting guidance, training clarifications, and status updates for business and technology stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience as a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role supporting supply chain, logistics, transportation, warehouse, or retail technology.
  • Working knowledge of transportation planning and execution processes, including line haul, last-mile delivery, routing, carrier operations, and shipment visibility.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Manhattan WMS/WMOS, Manhattan TMS, Manhattan Active TMS, Yard Management Systems, or nuVizz.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate system behavior, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Experience gathering requirements, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, managing backlogs, and supporting Agile delivery teams.
  • Experience with system integrations, APIs or data interfaces, data quality, data flows, and master data concepts.
  • Ability to support testing and implementation activities, including UAT, defect management, rollout coordination, and training or change support.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex system and process issues in clear business language.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, work independently, and collaborate effectively across business, technology, and vendor teams.
  • Proficiency with common analysis and delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, process-mapping tools, and Microsoft Office; basic SQL or data-querying skills are preferred.
