Job Description

Role Summary

The Buyer Analyst will support sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management activities that ensure business operations have access to the goods and services needed to succeed. This role combines analytical, procurement, and vendor management responsibilities to help optimize purchasing processes, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost effective procurement decisions.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support purchasing activities, monitor supplier performance, maintain procurement data, and identify opportunities for process improvement. This position is well suited for a detail oriented professional who enjoys working with data, managing vendor relationships, and contributing to operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Process purchase requests and support day to day procurement activities

• Analyze purchasing data, supplier performance metrics, and spending trends to identify opportunities for improvement

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and ensure timely fulfillment of requirements

• Maintain supplier records, contract information, and procurement documentation

• Monitor purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services

• Assist with sourcing initiatives, supplier evaluations, and vendor onboarding activities

• Support compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and internal controls

• Generate reports and provide insights to support purchasing decisions and operational planning

Key Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, sourcing, or a related business function

• Experience analyzing purchasing data, spend reports, and supplier performance metrics

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel including data analysis, reporting, and spreadsheet management

• Familiarity with procurement systems, ERP platforms, or purchasing workflows

• Understanding of supplier management, contract administration, and procurement best practices

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments

• Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
