Netzschutztechniker / Inbetriebnahmetechniker Umspannwerke m/w/d | Ingolstadt, Germany | Hybrid

We're hiring on behalf of a leading energy infrastructure company that plays a crucial role in advancing the energy transition. This organization is renowned for its commitment to innovation and its significant contributions to modernizing power grid systems across Southeastern Germany.

The Role

  • Commission and test medium, high, and extra-high voltage substation projects up to 380kV.
  • Analyze and resolve incidents within protection and control systems.
  • Program and parameterize high-tech protection and field control devices from leading manufacturers.
  • Commission digital protection and control technology using modern testing equipment.
  • Collaborate effectively with project management, planning, and assembly teams.
  • Contribute to key energy transition projects, including renewable energy connections.

What You'll Need

  • Completed vocational training in electrical engineering.
  • Proven expertise in protection or control technology, with experience in substation commissioning.
  • Familiarity with communication standards like IEC 60870-5-101/103/104.
  • Proficiency with parameterization software (e.g., Siemens DIGSI, Schneider MICOM S1) and testing software (e.g., OMICROM TestUniverse) is advantageous.
  • Strong teamwork, decision-making, and communication skills with excellent German language proficiency.
  • A valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel within Southeastern Germany (typically Monday-Thursday).
