IT Business Analyst

IT Business Analyst - New York, NY - Contract - $54-64 Per HR

Join our team as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. This hybrid contract role requires expertise in analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and recommending solutions. The successful candidate will work with various technologies to support strategic objectives and operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops.
• Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement or automation.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for development teams.
• Support testing, training, and deployment of new systems or enhancements.
• Facilitate communication between business users and IT teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience with business analysis, requirements gathering, and process mapping.
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in tools such as spreadsheets, diagramming tools, and project management software.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Business Analyst certification (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) or SAFE certification is a plus.
