The Role

• Fabricate and install large and small-bore pipework systems using various materials, including copper, cuni, carbon steel, and stainless steel.
• Utilize hand tools and mechanical equipment for cutting, bending, welding, and installing pipes.
• Install shipboard utilities such as sinks, showers, and toilets.
• Install and assemble fittings, valves, and related components, adhering to drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with other trades to ensure project timelines and accuracy.
• Maintain accurate work records and adhere strictly to safety regulations and company procedures.

What You'll Need

• A Modern Apprenticeship or Trade Papers (SVQ3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification).
• Proven experience in pipe manufacturing and installation, with proficiency in relevant tools and equipment.
• Solid knowledge of pipefitting methods, safe working practices, and trade-standard techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, pipework diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Understanding and consistent application of SHE, COSHH, and risk assessment requirements.
• Previous experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar trade within an industrial or commercial setting.
