The Role • Fabricate and install pipework systems of varying sizes using diverse materials including copper, cuni, carbon steel, and stainless steel. • Utilize hand tools and mechanical equipment for cutting, bending, welding, and installing pipes. • Install essential utilities aboard vessels, such as sinks, showers, and toilets. • Assemble and install fittings, valves, and related components according to technical drawings and specifications. • Collaborate with other trades to ensure efficient and accurate project completion. • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company procedures. What You'll Need • Possess a Modern Apprenticeship or Trade Papers (SVQ3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification). • Proven experience in pipe manufacturing and installation, including proficiency with necessary tools and equipment on major projects. • Solid understanding of pipefitting methods, safe working practices, and trade-standard techniques. • Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings, pipework diagrams, and technical specifications. • Comprehensive knowledge of SHE, COSHH, and risk assessment requirements with consistent application. • Previous experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar trade within an industrial or commercial setting.
