Contract: W2 only, 12 month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full time with either the client or CEI
Pay: $58-61/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match
Overview
Disney Experiences and Products (DX) Technology & Digital, a division of The Walt Disney Company, is seeking a Senior Product Designer to craft digital experiences that enhance guest and cast member engagement across parks, resorts, and cruises. This role offers an opportunity to deliver meaningful, emotionally resonant designs aligned with Disney’s high standards of quality and character.
Key Responsibilities
- Design original, useful and elegant digital experiences for Cast Members of Disney Parks and Resorts worldwide
- Apply a broad range of capabilities to drive digital product design from concept through execution and final implementation
- Partner with other designers and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, technology and consumer insights, to take work from ideation to reality
- Apply exceptional attention to detail and craft while guiding designs through product implementation, ensuring final development reflects design specifications
- Apply rigorous design thinking as products are developed at the crossroads of the physical and digital worlds
- Interpret, infuse and leverage Disney brands and properties to deliver on high guest expectations
- Reflect evolving design patterns and contribute to progressing standards of excellence
Required Skills
- 5-7 years of industry experience as an end-to-end multidisciplinary product designer
- Experience with premium brands, including e-commerce, hospitality or food & beverage services
- Experience with complex and/or productivity-focused applications
- Demonstrated success working with cross-functional product development teams to launch customer-facing digital products
- Experience defining and utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions
- Experience designing for emerging product experiences, including conversational user interfaces, is a plus
- Experience creating products using a user-first design approach
- Ability to build interactive prototypes
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Portfolio of impactful work required (portfolio presentation expected)
Required Education
- 2-year college degree or equivalent
Preferred Skills
- 4-year college degree preferred
