Job Description

Title: SAP Data Governance Analyst (MDG)
Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)
Contract

 

Primary Objective:

  • The client is looking for a hybrid business + technical data governance professional who can design (not just maintain) data stewardship models within an SAP MDG environment.

Key Focus Areas

  • Data stewardship design vs. maintenance
  • Understanding of master data as it relates to business processes
  • Ability to connect SAP backend structures to front-end business workflows
  • Strong emphasis on data lineage, definitions, and governance frameworks
  • Experience in business operations/processes
  • Transition into IT / data governance / MDM / MDG
  • Deep understanding of:
    • SAP data structures (schemas/tables) – especially product and vendor
    • How data integrates into business processes (Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash)
  • Experience designing (not just supporting):
    • Data governance frameworks
    • Data stewardship models
