Enterprise Technical Architect – Java, Telecom OSS & Camunda

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Telecom Technical Architect (10+ years) to lead the architectural vision, strategy, and design of large-scale Telecom OSS (Operations Support Systems) transformation projects. The ideal candidate must possess deep hands-on expertise in Java backend microservices, Camunda BPM workflow design, and core Telecom OSS domain processes (Order Management, Service Fulfillment, Provisioning, and Inventory Management).

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

• Solution Architecture: Lead the end-to-end technical architecture, integration patterns, and system design for enterprise Telecom OSS platforms using Java microservices and Camunda workflow engine.

• Workflow Orchestration: Design complex, scalable, and resilient business processes using Camunda BPM (BPMN 2.0 / DMN) to handle high-volume telecom order orchestration and service fulfillment.

• Domain Integration: Architect interfaces between OSS sub-systems, BSS (Business Support Systems), Network Management Systems (NMS), and network provisioning gateways.

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical governance, define architectural standards, review code/designs, and guide development teams to ensure alignment with performance, security, and scalability SLAs.

• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with client enterprise architects, product owners, and engineering leaders to translate business requirements into robust, future-proof technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 10+ years of progressive IT experience in software development and architectural design.

• Telecom OSS Domain: Solid domain expertise in Telecom OSS processes (e.g., eTOM framework, order orchestration, service provisioning, network inventory, network activation).

• Camunda Engine: Hands-on experience designing and implementing Camunda BPM workflows, custom delegates, error handling, performance tuning, and cluster management.

• Java / Spring Boot: Deep expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices architecture, and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ).

• Cloud & DevOps: Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD automated deployment pipelines.
