Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to establish, lead, and scale our sales operations in the Coimbatore region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building a high-performing sales team, driving admissions and revenue growth, achieving regional targets, and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Revenue Growth

Drive admissions, enrollments, and revenue generation for the Coimbatore region.

Develop and execute regional business development strategies to achieve growth objectives.

Identify new business opportunities and market expansion initiatives.

Build strong relationships with prospective candidates and stakeholders.


Team Building & Leadership

Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing Business Development team.

Establish and scale the regional sales team in line with business requirements.

Set individual and team KPIs, sales targets, and performance benchmarks.

Conduct regular coaching, mentoring, and performance review sessions.

Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.


Sales Management

Oversee the complete sales cycle from lead generation to enrollment.

Ensure effective lead management, follow-ups, and conversion strategies.

Support the team in handling objections and closing high-value opportunities.

Monitor conversion metrics and implement corrective actions when required.


Operations & Reporting:

Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance.

Maintain accurate CRM records and business reports.

Coordinate with internal departments to ensure a seamless candidate experience.

Provide management with regular updates on team performance and regional growth.


Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.

3-7 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or EdTech.

Proven experience in team building, team handling, and target management.

Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Demonstrated ability to achieve revenue and team targets.

Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting.

Fluency in Tamil and English.
