Sales Estimator
Work Location: Hybrid (Ashford)
Salary: £40-50,000 DOE + Commission Structure + Bonus
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 9 am 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday
Are you an experienced estimator looking to move into a specialist, high-value environment? Our client, a long-standing UK manufacturer within the perimeter protection and security sector, is seeking a Sales Estimator to support continued growth across their premium certified product range.

What You ll Be Doing
• Preparing accurate estimates and quotations for high-security and perimeter protection projects
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Calculating materials, labour costs, and project timelines
• Managing your own pipeline of enquiries and scheduled follow ups
• Supporting tenders and liaising with internal teams
• Conducting site surveys when required
• Building relationships with repeat clients and closing sales
• Ensuring estimates align with certified compliance requirements
What You ll Bring
• Minimum 2 years of estimating experience
• Strong ability to read technical drawings
• Excellent numerical accuracy
• Proficiency with MS Office and estimating tools
• Experience within perimeter security or construction estimating (advantageous)
• Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
• Full driving licence and own transport
• Knowledge of LPS 1175 or PAS 68 (desirable)
