Job Description

Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Coleraine - Days - NO WEEKENDS - Salary ~£40000 Your New Company Our client has a wealth of experience within their sector and operates from a specialist food production site. Your New Role Working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will work as part of the Maintenance team to test, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical related equipment throughout the site. Duties range from ensuring that maintenance targets and quality parameters are met, carrying out machinery checks, to effectively liaising with the management and advising of all machinery breakdowns. Key Responsibilities Maintain and service all equipment in area of responsibility * Assist in maintenance in areas out of personal remit * Maintain production machinery to ensure operations are running efficiently and effectively through periodic maintenance checks * Ensure breakdowns are attended immediately and that machinery is repaired effectively to allow production to continue * Minimise breakdowns through preventative maintenance and control procedures * Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, electrical code specifications and schematics in order to effectively troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment * Fault diagnosis and monitoring the performance of equipment after repairs have been carried out. What You'll Need To Succeed In order to be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and qualifications: Essential Electrical/Engineering NVQ level 3 at a minimum * 2 years experience as an electrical engineer within a factory environment * An in-depth knowledge of electrical activities. Desirable Experience of working in a food processing / factory environment * 18th edition standard * An in-depth knowledge of mechanical (pneumatics, welding and hydraulics) activities. What You'll Get In Return This role offers an attractive days shift role that spans Monday - Friday 07:00 - 16:00, a salary of ~£40000 and an enhanced OT rate for hours worked beyond the standard 40 per week.
