Job Description

Job Title: AWS Cloud Solutions Architect / Cloud Engineer
Location: 2 Broadway
Duration: 12 months
Notes: This is a hybrid role (3 days onsite / 2 days remote).
Job Description
  • This role focuses on designing cloud architectures primarily for Oracle Cloud along with AWS, Azure, frameworks, governance models, and cloud standards for the organization.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience partnering with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, multi/hybridcloud architectures.
  • This role may require guiding engineering teams or supplementing their skill sets. A strong foundation in AI technologies supported on the platform is must along with onpremises infrastructure is essential due to hybrid integrations and migration initiatives.
  • Candidate should be able to demonstrate use of AI. The organization is also planning to expand InfrastructureasCode capabilities.
Skills/experience of the assigned staff:
Required
OCI: 6 9 years
Azure / AWS / Google Cloud Platform: 1 2 years each (nice to have)
AI technologies available on the any platform
Hybrid Infrastructure: 4 6 years
Cloud Networking: 4 6 years
Cloud DevOps / Automation: 4 6 years
Cloud Security: 2 3 years
Cloud FinOps: 1 2 years
Architecture Documentation (Visio or Abacus): 2 3 years
Deep expertise in cloud platforms, services, governance, frameworks, and best practices
  • Proficiency in OCI is mandatory. The architect will focus on developing architectures, standards, and governance models for the OCI platform. Experience across other cloud providers is a plus for multicloud initiatives.
  • Extensive experience with cloud servers and environments with configuration, patching, network and VLAN configuration, backups, system monitoring and alerts.
Cloud Platforms, Oracle Cloud (OCI), AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform
Database Technologies: Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, Golden Gate, RMAN, Database licensing
Product Architecture and roadmap, its assessment
Linux or network administrator skills a plus
Platforms: Exadata, ExaCC, ExaDB-D, Exascale, DBaaS, OEM
Architecture: High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Multi-Cloud Architecture.
Automation: Terraform, Ansible, API/CLI automation
SRE & DevOps: Monitoring, Observability, SLAs/SLOs/SLIs
