Bill Rate: $75/hour

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

·        Design scalable cloud solutions across Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and Azure.

·        Lead legacy application migrations to cloud platforms.

·        Work with stakeholders and DevOps teams to define technical solutions.

·        Design cloud databases, BigQuery pipelines, APIs, and integration architectures.

·        Ensure security, performance, scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.

·        Support Docker, Kubernetes, GKE, and containerized environments.

·        Create architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and integration specifications.

·        Design disaster recovery, backup, and high-availability solutions.

·        Evaluate cloud technologies and recommend modernization improvements.

Required Skills

·        Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform or another major cloud platform.

·        Cloud architecture, distributed systems, and microservices.

·        Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, OpenTofu, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.

·        Cloud networking, VPC, hybrid connectivity, security, and IAM.

·        Docker, Kubernetes, and GKE.

·        Strong troubleshooting, communication, leadership, and solution-design skills.

·        Experience supporting government, higher education, or other public-sector environments.

Preferred Qualifications

·        7+ years of IT experience with 3+ years in cloud architecture, DevOps, or technical leadership.

·        Cloud certifications such as Google Professional Cloud Architect, Google Cloud Platform Associate Cloud Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect.

·        DevSecOps and CI/CD experience, including GitHub Actions.

·        PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, and BigQuery migration experience.

·        Knowledge of NIST, CIS Benchmarks, and ISO/IEC 27001.

·        Experience with AI-assisted development and infrastructure tools.
