Architect

Leidos is seeking an Architect to design and guide enterprise IT and software solutions supporting national security, health, and engineering missions. You will define reference architectures, select technologies, and create high-level and detailed designs for secure, scalable, and resilient systems. Partner with engineers, cybersecurity, and stakeholders to translate mission needs into technical roadmaps, oversee implementation, and ensure systems comply with standards, performance, and security requirements in a collaborative, mission-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable enterprise and solution architectures for mission-critical programs.
• Develop reference architectures, patterns, and roadmaps aligned with Leidos and client standards.
• Translate mission and business requirements into technical designs and system specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to guide implementation and integration.
• Evaluate and select technologies, tools, and platforms for large-scale IT solutions.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, performance, and reliability requirements.
• Produce high-quality architecture artifacts and documentation for internal and client stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and review across delivery teams.
• Support proposals, estimates, and technical presentations for government and commercial clients.
• Continuously assess emerging technologies to improve architectures and modernization efforts.
