ServiceNow Enterprise Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead-level ServiceNow Technical Consultant with strong Enterprise Architecture (EA) and Application Portfolio Management (APM) expertise to support ServiceNow APM implementation and enhancement activities.

The consultant will participate in workshops, refine requirements and stories, demonstrate solutions, configure the ServiceNow platform, and provide technical and functional advisory support. The role requires strong knowledge of ServiceNow APM, Enterprise Architecture, CSDM, Business Applications, Business Capabilities, Application Services, and application rationalization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture and APM workshops.
• Refine user stories and requirements and translate them into ServiceNow solutions.
• Configure and demonstrate ServiceNow APM functionality.
• Perform data setup for Application Portfolio Management, including Business Capability data.
• Utilize data from existing ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) implementations to support Business Capability and software model setup.
• Provide best-practice guidance for Business Application and Application Service attributes.
• Support CSDM alignment of Business Applications and Application Services.
• Create and configure up to 20 custom data capture fields on core Application Portfolio forms.
• Configure up to 3 catalog items and workflows supporting Business Application lifecycle management.
• Configure up to 2 data policies for Application Portfolio record certifications.
• Create or modify Application Portfolio dashboards and reports using ServiceNow Performance Analytics.
• Configure application indicators and scoring profiles to support application scoring and rationalization.
• Load Business Capabilities into the appropriate ServiceNow Business Capability tables.
• Establish relationships between Business Capabilities and Business Applications within ServiceNow.
• Configure Business Capability indicators and scoring profiles for capability assessment and scoring.
• Provide ongoing technical and functional advisory support to stakeholders.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong ServiceNow APM (Application Portfolio Management) experience.
• Strong Enterprise Architecture experience within the ServiceNow platform.
• Hands-on CSDM (Common Service Data Model) experience.
• Experience with Business Applications, Application Services, and Business Capabilities.
• Experience with Application Rationalization and application scoring.
• ServiceNow configuration and customization experience.
• Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics, dashboards, and reporting.
• Experience with ServiceNow workflows and catalog configuration.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow SAM (Software Asset Management) is preferred.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow data relationships and architecture.

Certifications

Required:

• ServiceNow CSA – Certified System Administrator
• ServiceNow CAD – Certified Application Developer
• EA/APM-related ServiceNow certification

• Able to translate business requirements into ServiceNow solutions.
• Comfortable working directly with technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong combination of technical configuration and Enterprise Architecture/APM knowledge.
• Must be located in the U.S. or Canada.
