Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Talent Manager to join our HR team. This role will report directly to the HR Manager and will be responsible for attracting, engaging and developing future talent pipelines to support the organisation's long-term recruitment strategy. The primary objective of the role is to substantially grow SRT's brand as an exciting and rewarding employer with the aim of attracting and securing exceptionally talented individuals with a specific focus on technical recruitment. Enhancing our online presence, participation in recruitment events and building relationships with universities and professional organisations will all form a part of the role. Alongside this the role will be responsible for recruiting into key technical vacancies within the Sovereign Territory Surveillance development team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with universities, colleges, and training providers.
  • Organise SRT's involvement in and represent SRT at careers fairs, networking events and industry conferences.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned vacancies
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand recruitment requirements.
  • Prepare engaging job advertisements and manage advertising campaigns.
  • Ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and recruitment records.
  • Produce recruitment reports and analyse recruitment metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.


Requirements
  • Previous experience in recruiting roles and developing graduate or internship programmes
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Strong organisational and project management abilities
  • Confident with networking with external organisations
  • Proactive and creative approach to attracting talent
  • Good attention to detail
