Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and creative
Swimming Pool Design & Sales Consultant to join our Santa Ana, CA team. This role combines consultative sales, residential pool design, outdoor living design, and client relationship management
. You will meet with homeowners to understand their vision, lifestyle, and budget, develop custom swimming pool and backyard designs, present proposals and 3D renderings, and guide clients through the sales process from initial consultation to signed contract.

The ideal candidate has experience in swimming pool sales, landscape or hardscape sales, outdoor living, home improvement, construction sales, or another high-ticket residential sales environment
. Experience with Pool Studio or similar 3D design software is a strong plus, and training is available. This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Santa Ana office, with scheduled in-home and on-site client consultations.

Key Responsibilities
Client Consultations:
Conduct in-home, on-site, and showroom consultations with homeowners to understand their project vision, lifestyle, budget, and outdoor living needs.

Swimming Pool & Outdoor Living Design

Develop customized swimming pool, backyard, and outdoor living concepts that align with client goals, property requirements, and budget.
3D Design & Renderings:
Create professional pool and backyard designs and 3D renderings using Pool Studio, Structure Studios, or similar design software.

Sales Presentations

Prepare and present detailed proposals, design concepts, 3D renderings, material selections, project specifications, pricing, and cost estimates.

Consultative Selling

Educate homeowners on pool designs, construction options, materials, outdoor living features, and project considerations.

Sales & Negotiation

Manage the sales process, overcome objections, negotiate terms, and close high-ticket residential sales contracts.

Lead Management

Respond to company-generated leads, qualify prospects, conduct follow-up, and maintain an organized sales pipeline.

Relationship Management

Build strong relationships with homeowners throughout the sales process and generate referrals and repeat business.

Project Handoff

Collaborate with construction, estimating, and project management teams to ensure accurate project specifications and a seamless transition from sales to production.

Pipeline Management

Maintain accurate records of prospects, client interactions, proposals, follow-ups, and sales activity while working toward monthly and annual sales goals.

Market & Product Knowledge

Stay knowledgeable about swimming pool construction, outdoor living products, materials, design options, and current industry trends.

Qualifications & Skills
2+ years of consultative sales experience in swimming pools, landscape/hardscape, outdoor living, home improvement, construction, or a related industry
Proven track record of closing high-ticket residential sales
Experience with in-home sales, in-home consultations, or on-site customer consultations
Strong consultative selling, relationship building, negotiation, and closing skills
Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong ability to understand customer needs and translate them into customized design and project solutions
Highly organized with strong lead follow-up, pipeline management, time management, and multitasking skills
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently
Ability to manage multiple prospects, proposals, and active sales opportunities simultaneously
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client site visits
Ability to commute to and work on-site in Santa Ana, CA daily

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with
Pool Studio, Structure Studios, or similar 3D pool, landscape, or architectural design software
Working knowledge of swimming pool construction, pool materials, equipment, and installation
Experience with landscape design, hardscape design, outdoor living, or residential construction
Knowledge of decks, patios, pavers, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, lighting, and other outdoor living products
Existing relationships within the home improvement, landscape, construction, home builder, or real estate industries
Experience selling customized residential projects with longer sales cycles and higher transaction values
Compensation & Benefits
Salary + Commission
$125,000–$175,000+ annual earning potential
Uncapped commission opportunity

Work Arrangement:

Some evening or weekend client meetings may be necessary based on homeowner availability
