Systems Engineer SME

Build, maintain, and guide integration of NCIS mission applications with their hosting environment. Develop system and network requirements, design interfaces, install and configure hardware and software, monitor performance, and support testing across on-premises, commercial, and hybrid cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and guide integration of mission applications with the hosting environment.
• Translate customer needs and high-level strategies into system and network requirements.
• Design interfaces and integrate system and network components.
• Plan and coordinate equipment installation, and install hardware, systems, and software.
• Monitor system performance and implement tuning improvements.
• Review test plans, participate in testing, and verify requirements and customer acceptance.
