Digital Commerce Re-platforming & Conversion Expert

Role Summary:

We are urgently looking for a senior Digital Commerce Replatforming & Conversion Expert with firsthand experience replacing a high-volume hotel booking, travel, retail, or eCommerce website.

The expert will advise a leading hospitality organization through a major website replacement, with one overriding objective: protect booking conversion, digital revenue, and customer experience through cutover, go-live, and stabilization.

Please note, this is not a generic program management, architecture, or digital transformation role. We need someone who has personally been through a major production website replacement and understands what can impact conversion at launch.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on guidance for website migration, cutover, go-live, and stabilization.
• Develop the conversion protection strategy, including pre-launch baselines and post-launch measurement.
• Identify conversion risks across search, availability, pricing, offers, booking/cart, checkout, payment, confirmation, and mobile journeys.
• Define launch monitoring for conversion, abandonment, transaction success, revenue, performance, and errors.
• Advise on A/B testing, phased rollout, go/no-go criteria, feature flags, rollback strategy, monitoring, and hypercare.
• Validate analytics/attribution, SEO/redirects, performance, payment flows, and critical third-party integrations.
• Rapidly diagnose conversion leakage and recommend corrective actions during stabilization.
• Partner with Product, Digital, UX, Engineering, QA, Analytics, Marketing, Revenue, and Operations teams.

Must-Have Experience

• 5+ years in digital commerce/eCommerce/booking platforms preferred.
• Direct experience replacing or replatforming at least one major booking, travel, retail, or eCommerce website.
• Personally involved in production cutover, go-live, and post-launch stabilization.
• Demonstrated experience protecting conversion and revenue during platform migration.
• Strong expertise in CRO, funnel analytics, A/B testing, digital analytics, checkout/payment, web performance, SEO migration, production monitoring, and rollback planning.
• Hospitality, hotel booking, travel, airline, OTA, retail, entertainment, or other high-volume B2C transactional experience preferred.
