Role: ServiceNow Developer
Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid 2 Days in a Month)
Job Type: Contract

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior ServiceNow Developer with strong hands-on development experience to design, develop, customize, integrate, and support enterprise ServiceNow solutions. This role is primarily focused on development and technical implementation, with minimal administration responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable ServiceNow applications and solutions.
  • Build and customize CSM/ITSM workflows, integrations, and platform components.
  • Develop and maintain scripts, UI components, business rules, and automated solutions.
  • Develop and support integrations using REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, perform debugging, and provide production support.
  • Participate in solution design, architecture, requirements, and roadmap discussions.
  • Ensure development follows ServiceNow coding, security, performance, and platform best practices.
  • Collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and business stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
  • Strong experience with ServiceNow Customer Service Management (CSM) MUST.
  • Deep hands-on experience with UI Builder (UIB) and Workspace.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
  • Experience developing Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI components, workflows, and scoped applications.
  • Strong experience with REST APIs, web services, JSON/XML, and system integrations.
  • ServiceNow Developer Certification MUST.
  • Experience with ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, or SOM is a plus.
  • Healthcare industry experience Nice to have.
  • ServiceNow Administrator Certification Plus.
  • Experience with Git/Bitbucket, CI/CD, Agile/Scrum, and SDLC is preferred.
