KayDev Technology is seeking an experienced Java Developer for a 17-month State of New York engagement in Albany, NY. This role requires senior-level Java development experience, technical leadership and extensive experience designing, developing, deploying and supporting complex enterprise applications.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must clearly document the applicable clients, exact dates, responsibilities and total months supporting each qualification:

• 84 months of experience designing and developing applications implemented with Java Development Kit 8 or higher.

• 84 months of experience writing and maintaining code using Java Persistence API, Hibernate and Oracle 10g or higher.

• The Oracle experience must include database development, DML, DDL, DCL and PL/SQL.

• 84 months of experience leading Agile or iterative development teams involved in planning, designing, implementing and integrating complex Java-based systems.

• 72 months of experience designing and developing applications using PrimeFaces/JSF, Angular or React.

• 72 months of experience identifying and resolving application-performance issues.

• 72 months of experience designing, developing and deploying applications using at least one of the following:

  • IBM WebSphere Application Server 6.0 or higher

  • Tomcat Server 9 or higher

  • JBoss Application Server 7 or higher

Preferred Technical Skills / Keywords

Java, JDK 8+, JPA, Hibernate, Oracle 10g+, PL/SQL, DML, DDL, DCL, Agile, iterative development, technical leadership, PrimeFaces, JSF, Angular, React, application-performance troubleshooting, IBM WebSphere, Tomcat and JBoss.
