Job Description
Job : QA Automation & Performance Test Engineer
Location: Texas
Job Summary
We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong experience in Cypress, Selenium, and BlazeMeter to develop and execute automated functional, regression, API, and performance tests for web applications and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Cypress and Selenium WebDriver.
- Design and execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration test cases.
- Perform web application testing across multiple browsers and environments.
- Create and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests using BlazeMeter/JMeter.
- Analyze BlazeMeter performance results, including response time, throughput, error rate, and resource utilization.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and work with development teams to troubleshoot issues.
- Develop and execute API tests using tools such as Postman and automated API frameworks.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and automation scripts.
- Log, track, and verify defects using Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, DevOps engineers, and other QA team members.
- Maintain test automation frameworks and improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Cypress automation testing.
- Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Hands-on experience with BlazeMeter and/or Apache JMeter.
- Good knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C# for automation.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and STLC.
- Experience in functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with performance and load testing.
- Knowledge of REST API testing.
- Good understanding of SQL and database validation.
- Experience with Git/version control.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Good defect analysis and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience integrating Cypress/Selenium and BlazeMeter/JMeter tests with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Docker or cloud-based test environments.
- Knowledge of monitoring and performance-analysis tools.
- Experience testing .NET/Java-based web applications.
- Familiarity with cross-browser and responsive testing.

Education
