Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Quality Assurance Analysts and Testers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

1. Develop and execute manual test cases and test scenarios for software applications.
2. Perform system and integration testing and document test results and defects.
3. Support SIT activities and validate system functionality against requirements.
4. Track defects and testing activities using tools such as JIRA or Jama.

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education	Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience	3–5 years of experience in manual software testing, test case development, system testing, and software quality assurance.
Technical Skills	Manual Testing, Software System Testing, Test Case Development, SIT, SQL, JIRA, Jama, SDLC
Business / Domain Skills	Software Quality Assurance, System Testing, Test Execution, Defect Management, Requirements Validation, Application Testing
Communication	Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation	Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization	Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Prior experience with IES applications or systems.
2. Experience with JIRA, Jama, or similar testing/defect management tools.
3. Experience with SQL and software development lifecycle processes.
