This employer is seeking a skilled Metalworker/Fitter to contribute to significant energy infrastructure projects across southeastern Germany. You will be instrumental in building and modernizing medium, high, and extra-high voltage substations, playing a direct role in advancing climate protection goals and the energy transition.

The Role

• Assemble steel structures for 110kV to 380kV switchgear, including air-insulated and gas-insulated systems.
• Install high-voltage and medium-voltage equipment and electrical systems, along with components like HV clamps, suspension, and support insulators.
• Perform assembly and disassembly of bolted and pressed connections, pipework, and cable installations, including cable pulling.
• Review and mark up plan documents with red annotations.

What You'll Need

• Completed vocational training in metalworking, such as Metalworker, Industrial Mechanic, Construction Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, or a comparable qualification.
• Prior experience in metalworking, ideally from construction, mechanical engineering, energy, or utility sectors.
• Experience with electrical systems is advantageous.
• A valid Class B driver's license and your own vehicle are required for travel to sites.
• Willingness to undertake regular on-site assignments from Monday to Thursday within southeastern Germany, including overnight stays.
• Good German language skills and an ability to work independently and with motivation.
