Java Application Developer with Security Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Java Application Developer to join large federal program. This is fully onsite in Herndon, VA and a full time position. **Mission essential program. Fully funded. 4+ years remaining**

Essential Duties of the Java Application Developer:

• Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
• Apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
• Ensure software standards are defined and met.

Qualifications of the Java Application Developer:

• 3+ years of software development experience
• Java experience is required
• Frontend experience with tools like Angular or React would be great.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience with DevOps tools like Kubernetes is great

Compensation for the Java Application Developer:

• $120,000 - $225,000 (based on experience)
