Job Description

One of leading NSW State agency is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and proactive person that want to build their future with us, growing as we grow.


If you are a C#.NET Developer who has a minimum of 2 year's experience and you are excited by the rare opportunity to work with the latest Microsoft technologies, rebuilding existing proprietary systems from the ground up.

About the Role
  • .NET application architecture and development (particularly C# / ASP.NET Core)

  • Entity Framework Core + SQL Server

  • Producing high-quality code using the practices of Software Craftsmanship such as TDD, design patterns, code reviews and clean coding.

  • Solid knowledge of integration patterns and best practices such as synchronous vs. asynchronous communications, RESTful APIs, messaging, publish-subscribe

  • Familiarity with Git and CI/CD systems (we use Azure DevOps Pipelines)

  • Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools

  • Deep understanding of multi-tier architectures and microservices (load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, networking, databases, content delivery networks)

  • Ability to interpret business needs and identify technologies and architectures that support the





Requirements
  • Holding a degree in ICT or related field with at least 1-3 years proven experience in the successful management and delivery of technology or ICT related projects, preferably in a Healthcare and/or IT context
  • Knowledge and experience of .NET Frameworks
  • Proven capability and experience in working with organisations
  • Proven experience working within small to large projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including both oral and written communication, in addition to strong stakeholder engagement skills with a demonstrated ability to quickly build trust and effectively manage expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of independence and professionalism, including the ability to prioritise and undertake a varied workload and respond positively and flexibly to change.
  • Must be based in Australia already and have full working rights.
  • Experiences in Health, Government or Financial Services would be highly desirable.
