Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Playwright and Selenium and mandatory exposure to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and ensuring the quality and reliability of PLM applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Selenium.

• Create and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks.

• Develop automated test cases for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and automation scripts.

• Perform UI and API automation testing and validate application workflows.

• Work closely with developers, business analysts, architects, and PLM teams to understand requirements and resolve defects.

• Execute regression and smoke test suites and analyze automation results.

• Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA.

• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.

• Maintain test data, test environments, and automation configurations.

• Troubleshoot automation failures and perform root-cause analysis.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Contribute to improving test automation coverage, framework design, and overall QA processes.

• Support testing activities across PLM application releases and integrations.

Mandatory Skills

• Playwright – Hands-on experience is mandatory

• Selenium – Hands-on experience is mandatory

• PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) exposure – Mandatory

• Strong experience in test automation framework development.

PLM Exposure

Candidates should have experience testing or supporting PLM applications, workflows, integrations, or related enterprise engineering systems.

Exposure to PLM platforms such as Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Dassault Systèmes ENOVIA/3DEXPERIENCE, or similar PLM solutions is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript for Playwright automation.

• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.

• Experience with Selenium WebDriver/Grid.

• API automation using REST Assured, Postman, or similar tools.

• Experience with Docker and cloud-based test environments.

• CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

• Experience with SQL/database validation.

• Experience testing PLM integrations with ERP, MES, CAD, or other enterprise systems.

• Experience with performance or accessibility testing is a plus.

Required Experience

• 10+ years of QA/Test Automation experience

• Hands-on Playwright experience – Mandatory

• Hands-on Selenium experience – Mandatory

• PLM exposure – Mandatory

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
