Job Description

Quality Analyst Engineer

Introduction:

As a Quality Analyst Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. You will be responsible for designing and implementing testing processes, analyzing test results, and identifying areas for improvement in the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of software products
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify and resolve issues
  • Perform manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications
  • Analyze test results and communicate findings to the development team
  • Participate in the design and implementation of quality assurance processes
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features do not negatively impact existing functionality
  • Document defects and track them to resolution
  • Provide feedback on usability and functionality of applications
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and new technologies in quality assurance

Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Quality Analyst or Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JMeter, or similar
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications in quality assurance or testing
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of performance testing and security testing
  • Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or TeamCity
