Job Description
Oxford Solutions is working with a client to hire a Mobile Broadcast Engineer for a direct-hire opportunity. This is a remote U.S.-based position with regular travel to live events and production locations throughout the year.
This is a strong opportunity for an early-career broadcast engineer with hands-on experience supporting mobile television production, broadcast systems, or similar technical environments. You’ll help operate and maintain sophisticated mobile production equipment while providing on-site technical support during events.
Responsibilities
- Support engineering operations for mobile broadcast units at remote event locations
- Monitor broadcast systems and troubleshoot technical issues during productions
- Perform preventive maintenance, system updates, and equipment repairs
- Inspect, clean, and maintain mobile unit equipment
- Track equipment inventory, repairs, and maintenance activity
- Coordinate technical activities with crew members during setup and production
- Assist with equipment upgrades and system changes
- Provide responsive technical support to clients and production teams
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of broadcast engineering, television production engineering, or related technical experience
- Associate or technical degree in Electronics, Engineering, Broadcast Technology, or a related field preferred
- Working knowledge of broadcast technology, production equipment, and television facilities
- Hands-on experience supporting technical aspects of live or on-location television production
- Familiarity with audio, video, graphics, and related mobile production systems preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Professional communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout the year
- Valid U.S. Passport required
