What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain native iOS features for the Xfinity app using Swift and modern platform frameworks.
  • Translate product requirements and UX designs into accessible, responsive, and reusable mobile experiences.
  • Work with product, design, backend, middleware, QA, analytics, and release teams to deliver end-to-end customer journeys.
  • Integrate mobile experiences with GraphQL and REST APIs, including authentication, error handling, data mapping, and client-side state management.
  • Contribute to mobile architecture, reusable component libraries, engineering standards, and technical design discussions.
  • Improve application performance, stability, security, accessibility, observability, and overall customer experience.
  • Implement analytics, logging, experimentation, and feature-flag capabilities to support product measurement and controlled releases.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex production issues across the mobile app, APIs, network interactions, and integrated services.
  • Write unit, integration, and UI tests using XCTest, XCUITest, and UI automation frameworks.
  • Participate in Agile delivery, code reviews, CI/CD practices, release readiness, and continuous improvement activities.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional iOS application development experience, preferably on large-scale consumer applications.
  • Strong proficiency in Swift and native iOS SDKs.
  • Hands-on experience with SwiftUI, reusable UI components, navigation, and responsive layouts.
  • Experience integrating GraphQL and/or REST APIs and managing asynchronous data flows, caching, and complex client-side state.
  • Practical knowledge of MVVM, Coordinator, or Clean Architecture and modular application design.
  • Experience with XCTest, XCUITest, and UI automation frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of iOS application lifecycle, privacy permissions, background execution, and Apple platform guidelines.
  • Experience using Git-based development workflows, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing customer-facing apps in telecommunications, broadband, connected home, media, payments, billing, or account management domains.
  • Experience with backend-driven or server-driven UI, JSON schema-based rendering, or configurable customer journeys.
  • Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, secure storage, identity, session management, API security, privacy, and mobile security practices.
  • Experience with mobile analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, feature flags, and A/B experimentation.
  • Familiarity with Xcode, Swift Package Manager, and modern Apple development tools and App Store release processes.
  • Experience supporting applications with high availability, broad device coverage, and frequent production releases.
  • Exposure to cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter is a plus, while strong native platform expertise remains the primary requirement.

Success in This Role

  • Delivers high-quality mobile features that simplify customer journeys and increase self-service completion.
  • Builds maintainable, testable solutions that align with shared mobile architecture and design standards.
  • Works effectively across mobile, middleware, backend, product, and quality engineering teams to bring features safely into production.
