Job: Android Developer
Location: Reston, VA (Onsite)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of professional Android application development experience, preferably on large-scale consumer applications.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and native Android SDKs.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose, reusable UI components, navigation, and responsive layouts.
• Experience integrating GraphQL and/or REST APIs and managing asynchronous data flows, caching, and complex client-side state.
• Practical knowledge of MVVM or Clean Architecture and modular application design.
• Experience with JUnit, Espresso, and UI automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Android app lifecycle, permissions, background execution, and device compatibility.
• Experience using Git-based development workflows, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience developing customer-facing apps in telecommunications, broadband, connected home, media, payments, billing, or account management domains.
• Experience with backend-driven or server-driven UI, JSON schema-based rendering, or configurable customer journeys.
• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, secure storage, identity, session management, API security, privacy, and mobile security practices.
• Experience with mobile analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, feature flags, and A/B experimentation.

Familiarity with Gradle and modern Android development tools and Google Play release processes
